I shot this with Sony's original VX 1000 a few years back. The dogs were Kea the Surfing dog who belonged
to my friend Larry Carilho, owner of Koa Board Sports in Waikiki. The other dog is a miniature Doberman
named Pal the Surfing Dog who belongs to my friend Captain Jon Jepson, owner of the Makani Sailboat
at Kewalo Basin on Oahu. The dogs may look miserable in some of the shots, but they get so excited when
near the water and see surfboards. This segment is one of my favorites and always puts a smile on the
face of people of all ages. To the SEA! Ray
